Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Ahmedabad

On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport/Railway station, you will be received by our representative & transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon enjoy the sightseeing to the following monuments: - Sabarmati Ashram - situated on the banks of Sabarmati River & founded in 1915 by Mahatma Gandhi, Shaking Minarets - this pair of minarets in the Sidi Bashir Mosque & it is unique because if one of them is shaken the other also starts wobbling, and the Calico Museum – it is carved wooden haveli (Indian mansion) boasts of an amazing collection of antique and modern textiles. Evening visit to Kankaria Lake. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

Day 2 : Ahmedabad – Lothal – Velavadar (145 Kms / 3 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Velavadar via visiting Lothal, in Bhāl region (one of the most important cities of the ancient Indus valley civilization discovered in 1954). On arrival, check in hotel & relax. Post lunch, visit Velavadar park for a safari where you can spot blackbucks and Nilgais, wolf, striped hyena, jackal, Indian fox, Jungle cat etc. Return to the resort for night stay.

Day 3 : Velavadar – Sasan Gir (240 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Sasangir. The Gir Forest National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary established in 1965, with a total area of 1412 km². Sasan Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. On arrival check into the lodge & relax. Later visit Kamleshwer (known for crocodile breeding farm), Devalia park, Waterfall and Nalsarovar Lake, where you can spot rare bird species like partridges, woodpeckers, sand grouse, cuckoos, bush quail, paradise flycatcher, etc. Later back to resort & relax. Overnight in Sasan Gir.

Day 4 : Sasan Gir

Morning & afternoon do the Jeep safari with a naturalist guide to explore the area & its wild life. Jeep Safari is the best way to spot Lion in Gir National Park in their natural habitat. Watching the Lions from open-roof jeep is altogether a wonderful experience. Overnight in Sasan Gir.

Day 5 : Sasan Gir – Dasada (330 Kms / 7 Hrs Drive)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Dasada. It is popularly called the Little Rann of Kutch. On arrival check in hotel & relax. Late afternoon enjoy safari into the Little Rann of Kutch. This desert wildlife sanctuary is popular for being home to Asiatic wild ass, which is found nowhere else in India. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset and bird watching at Bajana Lake. Overnight in Dasada.

Day 6 : Dasada-Ahmedabad (90 Kms / 2 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive back to Ahmedabad to board your return flight to home.
