Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Bangalore & Drive to Mysore ((140 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive)

On your arrival at Bangalore airport, meet & greet with our representative & transfers to the Hotel at Mysore. In the late afternoon, you set out on a trip of the city. The Mysore Palace, the Brindavan Gardens & Mysore Lake. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2 : Mysore-Mudumalai (100 Kms)

After breakfast, start cycling to one of the best wildlife reserves in South India – Mudumalai National Park. The park is nestled away in the Nilgiris and is part of what is known as the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Here we can take a jeep safari deep into the midst of this dry deciduous forest to encounter herds of wild Asiatic Elephants, Leopards, Bison and Tigers, the elusive Sloth Bear and primates like the Langur, Bonnet Macaque and Slender Loris. Overnight stay Madumalai.

Day 3 : Mudumalai-Ooty (55 Kms)

We will be up early and cycle through the mountain roads toward the colonial town of Ooty nestled up in the Nigiris (literally Blue Mountains). The excellent botanical garden at Ooty which is over 160 years old is home to not only a great variety of exotic flora but also many endemic birds. Overnight stay Ooty.

Day 4 : Ooty-Pollachi (110 Kms)

After breakfast, start cycling mostly downhill all the way to Mettupalayam – a small town at the foothills. We leave the bustle of this town behind us, as we get on our vehicle to make our way to Pollachi, near the city of Coimbatore. Here we will stay at a heritage villa. Overnight stay Pollachi.

Day 5 : Pollachi-Munnar (110 Kms)

After breakfast, start cycling towards the tea town of Munnar. We will board the vehicles if required or ride the whole distance, enjoying a ringside view of spectacular mountain sceneries on our way. Overnight stay Munnar.

Day 6 : Munnar

Enjoy cycling through a circular route today which surrounds Munnar. The terrain is highly hilly interspersed with high altitude rain forests and tea gardens. Overnight stay Munnar.

Day 7 : Munnar-Periyar (110 Kms)

After breakfast, we will ride along wonderful mountain roads to reach Periyar by evening. Overnight stay Periyar.

Day 8 : Periyar-Thodupuzha (100 Kms)

From Periyar we will transfer a short distance to avoid the traffic and cycle through a beautiful countryside of tea gardens, spice plantations, forests, tiny rural hamlets paddy fields and rubber plantations – most of it downhill. We eventually reach the spice plantation villa.

Day 9 : Thodupuzha-Alleppey (80 Kms)

After breakfast, start our last day ride to the ancient port of Alleppey and check in the houseboat. We will celebrate end of our ride with farewell Dinner. Overnight stay Houseboat.

Day 10 : Alleppey-Kochi (55 Kms)

After breakfast, drive to Kochi. On arrival, transfer to Airport to board your return flight as per your flight schedule.
