Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India! Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you are greeted by our representative. Transferred to hotel where our representative helps you check in and brief you about the following tours. Have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi Local Sightseeing

In morning after breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Old Delhi with Jama Mosque (largest mosque of India was built in 1656 AD by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan) & later enjoy Cycle Rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk “Silver Market” to get one of the most amazing experiences of life ever, later explore historical Red Fort, Raj Ghat (It is the memorial of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is the place where Gandhi ji was cremated).
Afternoon: Visit modern New Delhi are many historic monuments such as the 12th century Qutab Minar (World’s tallest free standing minaret & it has five distinct storeys with the height of 72.5 Meter), Humayuns’ Tomb is a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture, and in contrast, visits the modern Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Drive past India Gate, the city’s World War I war memorial, the President’s residence, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, all designed by Lutyens. O/n in Hotel.

Day 3 : Delhi-Agra (210 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast leave for Agra. If there is one image that sums up India to the world, it is the Taj Mahal. This beautiful monument in Agra is an absolute must for every visitor. On arrival, check in at hotel.
Fist visit UNESCO World Heritage site-Agra Fort. Later explore the Taj Mahal, the white marble tomb built in 22 years (1631 – 1653) by the Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved Queen Mumtaz. Over 20,000 craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy laboured for 22 years to build this masterpiece & its also known as symbol of eternal love. Experiencing Taj Mahal at sunset will take your breath away. Overnight in Hotel. (Note: - Taj Mahal Closed on Friday.)

Day 4 : Agra-Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri (250 Kms / 05 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast you leave for Jaipur. On the way to Jaipur, there will be two stop-over: Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri. Fatehpur Sikri- It is believed to be one of the first carefully planned cities of the Mughals. It was built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century AD. Its name basically means the ‘City of Victory’ & constructed of beautiful red sandstone. Afterwards visit Abhaneri which is famed for its 8th century Chand Baori – the deepest step-well in the world – then continue to Jaipur for a two night stays. On arrival in Jaipur, check in hotel and rest of time relax at hotel.
Jaipur is a city of history and tradition, dating back to its foundation in the 17th century by Sawai Jai Singh, from whom it derives its name. Jai Sing meticulously planned the civic layout of Jaipur, with wide roads and impressive architecture, all of which is painted pink to this day. Jaipur is almost equidistant from Delhi and Agra, and forms part of the famed Golden Triangle, which so many visitors to north India take. Overnight stay.

Day 5 : Jaipur Local Sightseeing

Morning: After a brief photography stop at the famed Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, drive out of town, to visit Amber Fort. Visitors can walk or go on elephant back up to the entrance of this romantic, traditional Rajasthani Fort, setting the mood for a visit to the dramatic, hill-top fortress.

Afternoon: The half-day city tour begins at the historic City Palace, a huge, sprawling complex, covering almost a seventh of the walled part of Jaipur. The palace is still home to the erstwhile royal family, who live in one section, while the rest has been converted into a museum. Highlights are the Armoury Museum, with its impressive collection of royal weapons, and the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds. This was constructed so that the royal ladies could watch processions, without being seen. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory in the world. O/n in Hotel.

Day 6 : Jaipur-Delhi (250 Kms / 6 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive back to Delhi. On arrival, check in hotel & relax. In evening enjoy walk in & around Connaught place area of colorful centre Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 7 : Delhi-Kathmandu by Air

After breakfast you will be transferred to airport to board flight for Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative & transfer to Hotel.

Day 8 : Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast explore the major temple towns in the Kathmandu Valley at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains visiting the gilded copper gate in Bhaktapur Darbar Square- a masterpiece with breathtaking art and architecture including the National Art Gallery, Hanuman Dhaoka and Swayambunath. Afternoon enjoy sightseeing tour of Boudhnath- the largest Buddhist stupa in the world, Patan and Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 9 : Kathmandu

This morning enjoy the excursion to Nagarkot situated approximately 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, and one of the international tourist destination with beautiful sights of the whole Lang tang range ,views the beautiful landscapes and mountains with the Kathmandu valley. It is famous for its sunrise view of the Himalaya with Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range. Nagarkot also offers a wonderful view of the Kathmandu Valley and enjoy the cool mountain air in the town of Nagarkot. Afterward return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Kathmandu – Chitwan

After breakfast, travel to Chitwan National Park ((145 km/5 hrs), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the first national park in Nepal & Chitwan has managed to preserve more endangered species of flora and fauna than any other area. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your very own naturalist. Enjoy a Welcome Drink while learning more about the park and its history. After settling in and a leisurely lunch, this afternoon get ready for your first adventure; an exciting Elephant Jungle Safari. Afterwards, return to the resort and enjoy tea, coffee and a slide show presentation on the local wildlife by the senior naturalist. Tonight, a wonderful dinner at the resort's Round House with ample time to share today's elephant adventure with your fellow travelers.

Day 11 : Chitwan

Chitwan Full day jungle activities such as elephant safari/jeep safari, dugout canoe ride, bird watching etc. In the evening witness a performance of Tharu stick dance or a slide show on the flora & fauna of the Chitwan Park.

Day 12 : Chitwan - Pokhara

After breakfast travel into the beautiful scenery of the Annapurna Range in Pokhara.
Pokhara has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. On arrival, check in hotel & relax. Later you have option to relax in a café, hire a boat and float around the lake, or shop for Nepali and Tibetan souvenirs in the endless stalls and shops.

Day 13 : Pokhara-Kathmandu

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in hotel & relax.

Day 14 : Kathmandu-New Delhi by Fly

After leisurely breakfast, in time you will be transferred to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport to board the flight to Delhi. From Delhi you’ll connect with your late night flight back to the home.
