Day 1 : Delhi-Leh by Air

Early morning board flight for Leh, which is probably the most mesmerizing flight over Himalayas. Upon arrival in Leh, traditional Himalayan welcome by our representative and transfer to a Ladakhi style hotel. Rest of the day free to take a complete rest for acclimatization due to the high altitude of Leh (3505 m). Evening take a walk in the colorful Market of Leh. Overnight in Leh.

Day 2 : Leh-Indus Valley-Leh

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the Indus valley, visiting
Shey Palace - a ruined Castle, Thikse monastery,It is a glorious Buddhist monastery & a marvelous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. In the last visit the Hemis monastery- the richest monastery in Ladakh. Later back to Hotel. Overnight in Leh.

Day 3 : Leh-Nubra Valley (Valley of Flowers)

After an early breakfast at 8:00 am, drive to Nubra Valley 125 Kms/ 4-5 hrs via the world famous Khardongla Pass 18360 ft.visit silver sand dunes near Hunder village and enjoy a double humped Camel safari followed by visit to Diskit & Hunder villages 80 kms round trip / 6-7 hrs . Overnight at the camp.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley-Leh

Early morning visit the small Yarabtso Lake, leisure breakfast and drive back to Leh 125 kms via Khardongla pass. Evening free in Leh market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Leh-Pangong Lake (150 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

Early morning fullday excursion to Pangong Lake 4400m east of Leh crossing Chngla Pass 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. Overnight at the Camp near the Lake side.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake-Tsomoriri Lake (250 Kms / 9 Hrs Drive)

Early morning drive to Tsomoriri. Drive upto kharu and then upto Tso-Moriri Lake 4200m. On the way visit Chumathang Hot springs. We cross Mahe bridge and then drive towards Tsomoriri Lake. On the way you can see Himalayan marmots. Arrive Tsomoriri Lake by evening and checkin at the tented camp near the lake. Overnight at the camp.

Day 7 : Tsomoriri Lake-Tsokar Lake-Stok

Morning after an early breakfast we drive to Leh 235 kms / 8-9 hrs via Tsokar Lake route. On the way visit Puga Geo-Thermal Gas springs , visit the Nomadic Rebo tents at Polo-kongka pass, and further after the pass stop by Tsokar Lake – which is a wetland area, and stop for photo. If interested members can visit the monastery of tiny Thukje village. We come on the Manali Highway and drive to Leh crossing Taglangla pas 5350m we arrive at Stok village. Later in the evening visit a local family in Stok Village to experience special Ladakhi Butter tea and barley drink. Overnight at Skittsal Resort hotel in Stok overlooking the Indus valley.

Day 8 : Stok-Uleytokpo

After breakfast drive to Ulley Resort 82 kms / 2-3 hrs from Stok, enroute visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir and the 1000 year old murals of Alchi monastery which is among the best Buddhist miniature paintings. Arrive Ulley and checkin at the Resort. Relax and cool environs.

Options: Member can enjoy a short River Rafting at Ulley tokpo for 30 – 40 minutes if desired on extra payments directly.

Day 9 : Uleytokpo

Day Excursion to visit Lunar landscapes, Lamayuru Monastery & Rizong Nunnery 130 kms round trip / 6-7 hrs . Picnic Lunch for the day. If desired you can also enjoy a nice day hike to Rizong village 2/3 hrs or a short Hike to Gera-Lardo village across Indus River. Overnight at Ulleytokpo.

Day 10 : Uleytokpo-Leh

Drive back to Leh 70km / 2-3 hrs , enroute visit Spituk Monastery, Magnetic Hill and the Military Hall of Fame. Afternoon free at leisure in Leh for last minute shopping, some of the best markets are Moti market, Nowshare market, Balkhang chowk apricot vendors and Super Market. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11 : Depart from Leh

Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi.
