Itinerary
Arrive at Delhi’s international airport a representative will be waiting for you outside the EXIT gate of arrival terminal, holding a placard of your name. Met upon arrival and transfer to your hotel & will escort you to make your hotel check-in smooth & faster for overnight stay in Hotel.
In morning after breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Old Delhi with Jama Mosque (largest mosque of India was built in 1656 AD by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan) & later enjoy Rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk “Silver Market” to get one of the most amazing experiences ever, later explore historical Red Fort & Raj Ghat (It is the memorial of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is the place where Gandhi ji was cremated).
Afternoon: Enjoy the visit of modern New Delhi with UNESCO Heritage Site Qutab Minar (the World’s tallest free standing minaret & it has five distinct storeys with the height of 72.5 Meter), one more UNESCO Heritage Site - Humayuns’ Tomb is a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Drive past India Gate, the city’s World War I war memorial, the President’s residence, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, all designed by Lutyens. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Morning after healthy breakfast, drive to Mandawa. Mandawa, the capital of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan and world famous site for its old havelies and fresco art thus making it an open air art gallery for all. On arrival in Mandawa, check into the heritage hotel & relax. Later take a walk around the town & explore the wall painted havelis and old houses of Mandawa. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Bikaner. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later start your sightseeing of Bikaner including Junagarh Fort which is richly decorated with mirror work, paintings and outstanding stone carvings, the architectural brilliance of the fort is worth seeing & Jain Temples. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer, in the Great Indian Thar Desert. Jaisalmer is also known as “The Golden City” because the town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Later drive to sunset point & enjoy charming view of Jaisalmer Fort while sun is setting down. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast, start your sightseeing of Jaisalmer including the old town of Jaisalmer & visit Jaisalmer Fort (UNESCO Heritage Site), built in the year 1156 by Rawal Jaisal. Perched on 80m high hill, housing the entire township within its ramparts, the golden hued Fort is standing like a sentinel in the bleak desert landscape. It is the only "Living Fort" in India.
We also visit magnificent Patwon Ki Haveli in the heart of the town. It is the most elaborate & magnificent of all the Jaisalmer Havelis & is virtually the showpiece of Jaisalmer's legendary architectural wealth. The carving on stone far surpasses in beauty the work on brocade & gold.
Later drive 40 km away from Jaisalmer to Sam enroute visit an abandoned village Kuldhara popularly known as Ghost Village. On arrival at Sam Sand Dunes ensuite camping site, check in camp & relax. After tea, enjoy camel ride in soft sand dunes of Thar Desert & the panoramic view of sunset from the middle of Sand Dunes. Later back to Camp & enjoy mouth watering Rajsthani Dinner with folk dance & music programme by a group of talented folk artists. Overnight in Camp.
Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, check in hotel & relax. Later enjoy the sightseeing of Jodhpur, including the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort. The fort is located in the heart of the old city on 125-metre high & over 5km wide hill. Later visit Jaswant Thada (also known as Taj Mahal of Jodhpur) & Umaid Bhawan Palace. Morning after breakfast drive to romantic city Udaipur (also known as the "City of Lakes "). It is full of natural beauty, rich water & natural protection afforded by the surrounding forests & Aravali Mountains. En route visit Ranakpur Jain Temple which is the biggest and most important Jain temple complexes of India & a unique example of Jain ecclesiastical architecture. It has 29 halls, 80 domes and supported by 1444 marble pillars, each of them intricately and artistically carved, yet no two of them are alike. Later drives continue to Udaipur. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Overnight stay Hotel.
After breakfast enjoy the visit of City Palace the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. At the nearby, Jagdish Temple, there is an impressively carved image of Lord Vishnu, to whom the temple is dedicated. A boat ride around Lake Pichola offers spectacular views of the city. The City Palace towers over the lake and you will also see the merchants havelis, temples, the royal hunting lodge and the exquisite Gul Mahal Pavilion on Jag Mandir Island. Overnight stay hotel.
After breakfast drive to Pushkar. Pushkar is famous for its Temples, Lake, Ghats, Sand Dunes and Bazaar. There are small hills on the three side of Pushkar and the deep and beautiful lake on the other, which increase the beauty of Pushkar. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later explore the only Lord Brahma temple in India & enjoy beautiful picturesque of Pushkar from lake. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Ranthambore. On arrival in Ranthambore, check into the hotel. Late afternoon visit the 10th Century’s Ranthambore Fort and enjoy short nature walk. O/n Hotel.
Wake up early morning & have tea-coffee with biscuits & after that leave at 06:00 AM for your safari into the National Park. Track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning safari. Return to the resort / lodge by 10:00 hrs. Freshen up and have proper breakfast. Later drive to Jaipur, which is well known as Pink City because many buildings are still washed in Pink, the traditional color of welcome. On arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel & relax. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of 16th century’s Amber fort (UNESCO Heritage Site) with elephant ride. Later visit the Magnificent City Palace (Royal Museum) built in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Singh. The complex consists an excellent museum, an armoury, sprawling gardens, buildings and several fine halls, Jantar Mantar (the Astronomical Observatory) & Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Evening free to visit the colorful bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Enroute enjoy the visit of Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary with a naturalist guide & enjoy the Cycle Rickshaw ride by seeing the birds. Later drive continues to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check into the hotel & relax. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Early morning visit the India’s most celebrated monuments Taj Mahal in Sunrise built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Taj Mahal, the white marble tomb built in 22 years (1631 – 1653) by the Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved Queen Mumtaz. Over 20,000 craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy laboured for 22 years to build this masterpiece & its also known as symbol of eternal love & now regarded by many as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Later drive back to hotel for proper breakfast & after that drive to visit Agra Fort, with its Halls of private and public audience. Later on drive continue to Delhi Airport to board flight for home. (Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Friday)
