Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India! Our representative will meet you at India Gandhi International Airport, escort you to hotel for check-in and brief you about the following tours. Then enjoy free time to recover from the jet lag. Overnight Delhi.

Day 2 : Delhi Local Sightseeing

India’s capital city, Delhi, is a unique and fascinating blend of two very different cities, each with its own distinctive flavour and character. No visit to India is complete without visiting these two complementary halves of its capital city - Delhi, both Old and New.
In morning after breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Old Delhi with Jama Mosque (largest mosque of India was built in 1656 AD by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan) & later enjoy Cycle Rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk “Silver Market” to get one of the most amazing experiences of life ever, later explore historical Red Fort & Raj Ghat (It is the memorial of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is the place where Gandhi ji was cremated).

Afternoon: Enjoy the visit of modern New Delhi with UNESCO Heritage Site Qutab Minar (the World’s tallest free standing minaret & it has five distinct storeys with the height of 72.5 Meter), one more UNESCO Heritage Site - Humayuns’ Tomb is a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Drive past India Gate, the city’s World War I war memorial, the President’s residence, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, all designed by Lutyens. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3 : Delhi-Agra (210 Kms / 04 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast leave for Agra. If there is one image that sums up India to the world, it is the Taj Mahal. This beautiful monument in Agra is an absolute must for every visitor. On arrival, check in at hotel.
Fist visit UNESCO World Heritage site-Agra Fort. Later explore the Taj Mahal, the white marble tomb built in 22 years (1631 – 1653) by the Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved Queen Mumtaz. Over 20,000 craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy laboured for 22 years to build this masterpiece & its also known as symbol of eternal love. Experiencing Taj Mahal at sunset will take your breath away. Overnight in Hotel. (Note: - Taj Mahal Closed on Friday.)

Day 4 : Agra-Ranthambhore (300 Kms / 06 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast leave for Ranthambore En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, (The ghost city) lies some 40 km from Agra. The city is remarkably well-preserved, and visitors can see the Jama Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, and several palaces A short halt Bharatpur, for lunch and you’ll step aboard rickshaws for a journey around the Keoladeo National Park, - This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once a royal hunting reserve, but these days instead of gunshot, the only sound you’ll hear is that of the 230 species of bird that live here.
Later continue drive to Ranthambore. Ranthambore National Park, one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambhore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The desire to preserve the game in these forests for sport was responsible for their conservation and subsequent rescue by Project Tiger. More than in any other park or sanctuary in India, tigers are easily spotted here in daylight. Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, at the junction of the Aravalis and the Vindhyas mountain, is a unique example of natural and historical richness, standing out conspicuously in the vast, arid and denuded tract of eastern Rajasthan, barely 14 kilometers from Sawai Madhopur.

Day 5 : Ranthambhore National Park

Wake up early morning and leave for your safari into the National Park. Track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning safari. Our two game drives give you ample opportunity to spot Ranthambore’s famously inquisitive tigers but if you don’t spot any tigers, don’t worry, there is plenty of other wildlife for you to admire, from foxes and hyenas to some incredibly rare birds
Return to the resort / lodge by 10:00 hrs. Freshen up and your breakfast would be ready, rest of time to relax at resort either spends time at the pool or visits the town optional.

After lunch leave again for you afternoon safari. The safari will be till evening 1700 - 1800 hr and then return to the resort / lodge. Dinner will be at the resort and retire early for the night.

Day 6 : Ranthambhore National Park- Jaipur (190 Kms / 03 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast you can visit Fort the Ranthambore Fort built in the 10th century, which commands a panoramic view of the Tiger Reserve. The fort also houses some splendid monuments within its precincts.
Later continue drive towards Jaipur by surface enroute visit Abhaneri which is famed for its 8th century Chand Baori – the deepest step-well in the world – then continue to Jaipur for a two night stays. On arrival in Jaipur, check in hotel and rest of time relax at hotel.
Jaipur is a city of history and tradition, dating back to its foundation in the 17th century by Sawai Jai Singh, from whom it derives its name. Jai Sing meticulously planned the civic layout of Jaipur, with wide roads and impressive architecture, all of which is painted pink to this day. Jaipur is almost equidistant from Delhi and Agra, and forms part of the famed Golden Triangle, which so many visitors to north India take. Overnight stay.

Day 7 : Jaipur

Morning: After a brief photography stop at the famed Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, drive out of town, to visit Amber Fort. Visitors can walk or go on elephant back up to the entrance of this romantic, traditional Rajasthani Fort, setting the mood for a visit to the dramatic, hill-top fortress.

Afternoon: The half-day city tour begins at the historic City Palace, a huge, sprawling complex, covering almost a seventh of the walled part of Jaipur. The palace is still home to the erstwhile royal family, who live in one section, while the rest has been converted into a museum. Highlights are the Armoury Museum, with its impressive collection of royal weapons, and the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds. This was constructed so that the royal ladies could watch processions, without being seen. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory in the world. O/n in Hotel.

Day 8 : Jaipur-Udaipur (400 Kms / 6 Hrs Drive)

This morning, you will go to Udaipur which is also referred to as the ‘City of Lakes’ because it has been blessed with strikingly impressive lakes. On reaching Udaipur, assisted transfer to a hotel after which you will be taken to have a look at the ever pretty Pichola Lake and Lal Ghat area. Overnight stay at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 9 : Udaipur Local Sightseeing

Morning after a relaxed breakfast proceeds for sightseeing of Udaipur City. Visit The City Palace (The magnificent palace started by Maharana Udai Singh II and completed in a long time lag is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan. Built in glittering granite and marble it majestically towers high on the Pichola Lake)...Saheliyon - Ki- Bari (Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden for the Maids of Honour of the queen, has beautiful fountains, pools with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants in marble. There is a delightful Lotus pool and a sitting room decorated with paintings and glass mosaics too)... Evening, we will take you for a round of Fateh Sagar Lake (This artificial lake was built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh. After heavy rains destroyed it the reconstruction took place under the guidance of Maharana Fateh Singh). Later back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Udaipur-Pushkar (280 Kms / 6 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Pushkar. Pushkar is famous for its Temples, Lake, Ghats, Sand Dunes and Bazaar. There are small hills on the three side of Pushkar and the deep and beautiful lake on the other, which increase the beauty of Pushkar. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later explore the only Lord Brahma temple in India & enjoy beautiful picturesque of Pushkar from lake. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 11 : Pushkar-Delhi (360 Kms / 7 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check into the hotel & relax.

Day 12 : Delhi-Khajuraho by Flight

After Breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Delhi Airport to board flight for Khajuraho. It is the small town of central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is famous for its complex of exquisite Hindu and Jain temples. The 9th and 10th century’s temples are famous for their sensual and erotic carvings, which depict the whole range of human emotions and relationships, as well as exquisite carvings of gods and goddesses.
Afternoon: We start our Half day visit with the western group & the Eastern Group of temples, which are an interesting mix of Hindu and Jain temples. Evening enjoy light and sound show. The 50-minute fascinating show is held in every evening and it runs in Hindi and in English. The first show is in English that starts at 6.30 pm. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 13 : Khajuraho-Varanasi by Flight

In morning enjoy leisure breakfast at hotel & afternoon you will check out and transferred to Khajuraho airport to board your flight for Varanasi. Meeting and assistance on arrival at Varanasi airport and transferred to Hotel.
Varanasi is one of India’s most important religious and pilgrimage sites. Every Hindu dreams of visiting the city at least once in their lives. situated on the banks of the River Ganges.
Evening Ganges tour
To experience Varanasi intimately, you have to visit the ghats, preferably in the evening. A leisurely rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes and bylanes of the city takes you down to the river, where the temples and ghats are lit with oil-lamps and candles. Participate or wetness to a collective prayer ceremony, known as an Aarti, and watch the floating oil-lamps on the Ganges. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 14 : Varanasi

After breakfast start sightseeing of city, Visit some of the most important temples in this holy city, including the Bharat Mata Mandir, which was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, and the Durga Temple, and then drive past the beautiful Tulsi Manas Temple. Later drive through the campus of the Benaras Hindu University, Asia’s largest residential university, covering 5 kilometres. On the campus, visit the New Vishwanath Temple. (Optional: one can also visit the excellent collection of miniature paintings housed in the Bhat Kala Bhavan)
Afternoon we will take a short excursion to Sarnath where Buddha chose to deliver his first sermon after attaining Nirvana. Our local guide will escort us around the site and explain the concepts of Buddhism from its early founding. Presently located at Sarnath, the Tibetan Institute has a rare collection of Buddhist texts, Tibetan manuscripts and other journals. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 15 : Varanasi-Delhi by Flight

Morning Ganges tour
Experience the soul and spirit of Varanasi during an early morning boat excursion on the holy River Ganges. The city has about 100 ghats, each marked by a lingam and from the river, we will see the bathing ghats, as well as the cremation ghats. Later back to hotel for breakfast. Later in time of your flight transferred to Varanasi airport to board your flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative & transfer to Hotel.

Day 16 : Depart from Delhi

Following breakfast, you’ll head for Delhi International Airport to leave for the journey home as per your flight schedule.
