Itinerary
Arrive New Delhi airport, meet & greet by our representative with Garland welcome & mineral water bottle & transfer to your hotel. O/n Hotel.
After early breakfast, drive to Shimla. Shimla, often referred to as the "Queen of Hill Stations" & it was the summer capital of India under the British. It is a beautiful hill town in the lap of nature, surrounded by pine and deodar forests. Arrive Shimla, check into the hotel & relax. O/n in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing of Shimla including Jakhoo Hill, Institute of Advance Studies, Christ Church & Mall Road. Later drive to Sarahan. Sarahan is steeped in legend, hill architecture and remarkable natural beauty. A picturesque village overlooking a deep valley & with an unimpeded view of the Srikhand Mahadev peak. On arrival check into the guest house & relax. O/n in Guest House.
Morning after breakfast, take a short walk around & see the temples, the prime attraction is Bhimakali temple, which represents the most resplendent example of local architecture. Later drive continue for Sangla. It is famous for the natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa Valley since Baspa river flows through this area. Sangla is also famous for Kamru Fort. This fort was the place where King of Kinnaur was crowned. Now this fort is dedicated to Kamakshi Temple. The Goddess idol was brought from Guwahati (Assam). On arrival check into the guest house & relax. Later take a sort walk around the valley & visit the temple & village. O/n in Guest House.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kalpa. Kalpa is a small town located in the Sutlej River Valley & famous for its apple orchards. The Kalpa village is considered to be one of the heritage villages of the world. On arrival check into the guest house & relax. Later visit the temple and the village & also enjoy the amazing view of mountain Kinner Kailash and its changing colours. O/n in Kalpa.
Morning after breakfast drive to Tabo. Tabo is situated on the bank of Spiti River. The town surrounds a Buddhist monastery which, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old. On arrival check into the Camp & relax. Later visit the Tabo monastery. O/n in Guest House.
Morning after breakfast visit the Tabo Monastery is known as Ajanta of Himalaya. Tabo Monastery was founded in year 996AD & the temples within the monastery complex have a plethora of wall paintings and mud statues. It is considered to be the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monastery in India and the Himalayas.
Later drive to Kaza. Enroute visit the Dhankar monastery & Pin valley, the valley lies below the Kungri glacier & has several monasteries. On arrival in Kaza, check into the camp & relax. Kaza is known for its colorful festivals and the ancient Sakya Tangyud Monastery. Later visit the Monastery & village. O/n in Camp.
Morning after breakfast drive to Keylong. Keylong is located about 7 km north east of intersection of the Chandra Valley, the Bhaga Valley, and the Chenab Valley, on the banks of Bhaga River. The region is exciting, primitive mountainous and delightful. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. O/n in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast visit the 900-year old Kardang gompa, a 4 km uphill walk from town, across the Bhaga valley, later visit the Shashur gompa, built in the 16th century & take a short walk in the town. Later drive to Udaipur. Here you can see good kail-blue pine forests all around the village. This place has an ancient temple dedicated to goddess Durga & has some fine carving. On arrival, check into the camp & relax. Later visit the Temples like Trilokinath temple, Markula Devi Temple & take walk around the village. O/n in Camp.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Manali. Manali is located near the northern end of Kullu Valley & on the banks of River Beas. Manali – an important hill station & breathtaking natural beauty is the hallmark of this valley. Enroute enjoy the amazing view of the beautiful villages situated among the green Hills On arrival in Manali, check into the hotel & relax. O/n in Hotel.
After breakfast start your sightseeing of Manali including Hadimba Devi & Manu temple in Old Manali, hot water spring at Vashist temple, Arjun Gufa (Cave of Arjun) & take a walk on Mall Road to see the colorful Market of Manali. O/n in Hotel.
After breakfast drive to Dharamsala, Dharamsala lies on the backdrop of the snow-draped Dhauladhar Mountains, a sub-system of the Himalaya, the town is surrounded by woods of pine and deodar and commands majestic views of the main range and the Kangra Valley below. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. O/n in Hotel.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy the visit of Mcleod Ganj is the home of the His Holiness Dalai Lama and Tsuglakhang Buddhist Temple.
We will also visit the Tibetan Medical Institute and Museum and Tibetan Library.
Later drive continue for Amritsar. Its name derives from the name of the pool around the Golden Temple and means "holy pool of nectar”. It is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. The beautiful and unique Golden Temple was initiated by Guru Ramdaas Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, and completed in 1601 by his successor Guru Arjan Dev Ji. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Early morning visit the Golden temple in Sunrise. Later back to hotel for breakfast. After that visit the Jaliawala Bagh, this site is witness to one of the most brutal incidents that took place during the Indian freedom struggle & to pay homage to the thousands killed in this incident, the Jaliawala Bagh was built, later visit other Hindu temples & museum of Summer Palace.
Later in the afternoon visit Wagha Border (Indo-Pak Border) & enjoy flag ceremony. Return back to hotel. O/n in Amritsar.
Morning transfer to Railway Station to board train for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, pick-up & transfer to Delhi Airport to board the flight for your home country.
