Itinerary
On arrival in Delhi, you will be pick-up by our representative with Garland welcome and transfer to hotel for overnight. Overnight in Delhi.
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. On arrival in Rishikesh, check into the hotel and relax. Late afternoon enjoy the sightseeing of Rishikesh including Ashram, Temples & beautiful picturesque. Overnight in Hotel at Rishikesh.
After breakfast in hotel, take a long drive to Joshimath. You can take stopover for a while at the place called "Devepryag" and Dhari Devi Temple placed on the way to Joshimath.It is significant because of having confluence of the two prime rivers of the Garhwal Himalayas "Bhagirathi" and Alaknanda actually holy river Ganges starts from here. En route make a short stop at Dev Prayag – the confluence of river Alaknanda & Bagirathi. Overnight in Guest House.
After breakfast, drive to reach Govindghat (altitude of 1828 mt / Approx 25 Km, about 2 hrs drive). On arrival, start trekking to reach Ghangaria (altitude of 3049 mt / 14 km Trek about 5-6 hrs walk) with packed lunch. Ghangaria is also known as GOVIND DHAM, It is the base camp for visiting Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. In the evening you can have the glimpses of beautiful surroundings. Overnight in Guest House / Camp.
After breakfast, we start our trek to the Valley of Flowers (altitude of 3658 m), with packed lunch (10 kms trek return / 5-6 hrs walk). The valley is ringed with snow-capped mountains and watered by streams rising in the mountains, the trek is beautiful, through forests, and meadows, with lovely views of Garhwal Himalaya. Evening return back to Ghangaria. Overnight in Guest House / Camp.
After breakfast 5 km trek to Hemkundsahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria (10 Kms step climb return / 6-7 hrs walk). This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, the Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snowcapped mountains now recognized by Hemkund. We visit Lake & Gurudwara. Later back to Ghangaria. Overnight in Guest House / Camp.
After breakfast start 14 km downhill trek of 5 hrs walk to Govindghat. From Govindghat, start 1 hr drive to Joshimath. On arrival check into the guest house & relax. Overnight stay at Joshimath.
After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and river Mandakini. On arrival in Rudraprayag, check into the guest house and relax. In the afternoon visit the several temples around. Overnight in Guest House.
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar (Approx 170 Km, about 6 hrs drive). Enroute enjoy the panoramic view of the region with Photography. On arrival in Haridwar, check in hotel & relax. Evening enjoy the Arti at Ghat. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
After breakfast at hotel, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, drop at Airport to board your return flight.
